How do I size a UPS battery bank for my data center?
Battery sizing depends on your UPS capacity (kVA), load (kW), DC voltage string, and required backup time. For example, a 100kVA UPS at 80% load with 192V DC requires approximately 32 × ND12-100 batteries for 10 minutes of backup. We provide free sizing assistance — send us your UPS specifications.
Can I mix Naradex batteries with existing batteries in my UPS?
We do not recommend mixing new and old batteries or batteries from different manufacturers in the same string. Differences in internal resistance and capacity will cause uneven charging and reduce overall system reliability. We recommend replacing entire strings at once.
